Education system of Pakistan

In today's world education is one of the essential part of a human's life. Education is not only getting degrees and certifications. Education is about learning manners, its a way of living, its about how to treat people around you, its about learning what is going around you, its about where you stand in the world as an individual and many more things. 

Sadly, our education system is nothing more than just to get the degree and not learning anything. That is why we lack in proper professionals in the proper fields and we are not able to compete the world in this regard. Our education system is still that traditional system that was established many years ago. 

In our education system we are not going towards innovation, we are not working on new ideas, we are not building our education standards to compete with other education systems in the world. Even our neighbor country India is advancing on rapid pace in the sector of education. There high school students are much better than our graduates.

Our education system is still based on that tradition concepts that obsolete in the modern world. Our students just study to get the degree to earn money, to do a job. No one cares about the new ideas, creativity, innovation they just cram the text books to clear the exams and get the degree. It is not the fault of our students its the fault of our education system that makes them do it. Because if they do something new, in exams they do creative writing the examiner makes them to regret that not because the student is wrong but the content has not the same wording as the text book so they don't give them marks.

It is not that all our institutes are wrong some of the institutes are doing simply great they promote innovation, they promote creativity, they motivate students to work on new ideas but those institutes are very expensive for a medium class student and those who can afford are simply don't want to learn new things.

Our universities also doesn't have trust on our education system after intermediate if you apply for graduation than you have to appear in an entry test that means what you have studied in the past 12 years is nothing, your future depends upon that single entry test no matter how much bright student you are.

Also, there is no career counselling for our students. In modern world many countries have introduced career counselling, aptitude tests in there school system where they test the student through different tests and observations and judge the interest of the students and motivate them to join that field and that can be any type of field not only just engineering, medical, IT or business. 

Contrary to that our student just taught from the school level that he must become an engineer, doctor, IT professional or business graduate to earn living. They are not told that there are many other fields in which they can excel. No one cares about the student interest they just force them to join these fields and that is the reason why our industries are weak.

Because of our so called education system unemployment is increasing because the graduates not get to learn about the professional life, they just cram the books. clear the exams and get the degree. They don't get the jobs although they have the degrees but they haven't learned anything. That is the reason why companies need experienced graduates for the new jobs but no company try to give new jobs to fresh graduates. Which is big question on our education system.

We have to improve our education system so that we can walk with the rest of the world otherwise we will be left far behind. Without a better education system we can not excel in any field, not in our industries, not in our politics, not in our community, etc. 

The rest is left on the readers thinking to judge our education system and try to improve that education system.
